I have been an Arizona Resident since 1978. I have always lived on the east side of Phoenix in the cities of Mesa, Chandler and Ahwatukee. My husband and I currently live on 2 acres in an unincorporated area on the outskirts of Chandler; along with two dogs and ten chickens. A portion of the property houses a very large pond where five ducks, and a few turtles live, as well as whatever critters wander on to our farm.

We love Arizona and all that it has to offer, including the heat. I’d much rather bask in 110 degrees than 30 below.
